Description:
Position Summary
The Technician supports the Building Maintenance team by performing builder’s works, repairs, and maintenance activities across Galaxy Resort & Casino and Broadway Macau, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest operational, safety, and guest service standards.
Primary Responsibility
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with GEG standards and departmental requirements.
- Perform builder’s works, painting, and related maintenance tasks to maintain facility appearance and functionality.
- Work closely with other departments to support operational efficiency and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Use materials, tools, and equipment safely and effectively for assigned maintenance works.
- Comply with all occupational health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Report any safety concerns, defects, or potential hazards to the Supervisor immediately.
- Monitor and provide updates on work progress to the Supervisor.
- Assist in identifying and requesting required materials, spare parts, and tools.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean work environment at all times.
- Attend training sessions and continuously develop technical skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Relevant trade apprenticeship or certification
- Minimum 1 year of Builder's Works/Painting experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge with an efficient work approach
- Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese; Mandarin and English are an advantage.
- Willing to work shifts and perform work-at-height duties
- Basic PC skills are preferred
